The Asset Details page allows you to view the metadata information for the asset, see its media type, view the actual asset (if applicable for the type of asset), and/or download a copy of it (if applicable).
You can view asset details only if your login has an access level that allows you to view an asset.
To view the details for a digital asset
| 1 | Log in to the Admin console. |
| 2 | Choose Assets from the navigation pane. |
The Assets page displays. The digital asset hierarchy appears under Directory.
| 3 | Do one of the following: |
| • | Use the Directory hierarchy to locate the asset whose details you want to view. Refer to Navigating the digital asset hierarchy for information about navigating to a particular directory node and digital asset. |
| • | Use Search Assets by Name to find the assets (for more information, see Searching for assets). |
| 4 | Hover the mouse cursor over the name of an asset to see a preview image (thumbnail) of the asset, if available. |
If no preview image is available for the asset, the “No Preview Available” message appears.
| 5 | Choose the name of the asset under Directory Contents. |
The Asset Details page displays and lists the asset’s name, media type, and the metadata of the asset. (For more information, see Fields: Asset Details.)
If you want to view the digital asset, choose View Asset.
| 6 | Choose OK to return to Assets. |
